Synopsis

Tomek and Kasia are a well-off married couple at a crossroads. Their vacation in Bali, Indonesia, is meant to be a time for exotic relaxation — and an opportunity to sort out the most important issues in their relationship.
But each of them has a different idea of what rest should look like. She wants to unwind in a nice hotel, while he, facing his 40th birthday, dreams of a thrilling adventure and a rematch with a volcano he once failed to conquer. The village they arrive at seems like the perfect base for climbing the summit. However, it turns out to be a place devoid of any comforts, inhabited by a rather unsettling community — one that is beginning to prepare for a strange ritual...
