Synopsis

Batyr Bayan is a real historical figure, one of the legendary heroes of the 200-year war of the Kazakh people against the powerful Dzungaria for independence, territorial and political unity of the Kazakh Khanate. Following the poem, the film tells about the tragic love of a batyr for a young prisoner-Dzungarian.
