Synopsis

The story of how the "Eimersee" lake in Eckernförde came into being is legendary and so curious that it has to be told in a film. With simple means, Michael Packschies, the city's nature conservation officer at the time, created a lake on December 6, 1990, which has developed into a biotope worth protecting with enormous animal and plant diversity.
