Synopsis
A jaded writer, desperate for inspiration, advertises himself as a biographer and is soon hired by a mysterious stranger in black, only to find his work entwined with a string of chilling murders and haunting visions that dredge up buried family secrets. As the boundary between past and present collapses, he races to uncover the truth behind his own traumatic memories and the sinister forces behind the killings, realizing too late that his fate may be inseparable from the horrors he’s investigating.
