Synopsis
This five-part drama series, based on a novel by A.B. Yehoshua, narrates the story of a Jewish Sephardi family through the testimonies of five narrators, each of whom
encounters members of the family at different points in time during a 150-year period starting in the mid-nineteenth century. The dramas are set in different times and countries but are linked by a mystery disclosed only in the end. Each segment is dramatized in a different language and conveys a different mood and different cinematic strategies.
