Synopsis
A little girl runs after a lost ball and ends up in a large, old cemetery. In this strange, strange environment of light and silence, she meets a man, the gravedigger. The man takes her into his hut, an enchanted world where dozens of self-carved puppets give it an eerie life. There he tells her things about sin, purity and preservation that she does not understand and yet to which she reacts with a strange fascination. As he talks and plays with his puppets, the man gets closer and closer to her until his hands gently wrap around her neck...
