Synopsis
Abu Saree sends his daughter Naima to work as a servant in Cairo to help him with life expenses. She educates herself by watching elementary school lessons from the kitchen window, so she outperforms the house owner's son, who, as a result, closes the window to prevent her from studying. However, her father tells her he will marry her off to one of her relatives, so Naima runs away to start a new educational journey.
