Synopsis
Teenaged Rachel lives isolated with her mother in the heart of Pennsylvania Dutch country. Desperate to learn the faith healing craft of Braucherei from her reluctant and devout Mudder, her rambunctious spirit and love of death metal drive her to question her mother’s strict and overbearing methods. In search of a teacher, she connects with the spirit of her dead Oma who introduces her to the forbidden craft of Hexerei… and reveals a dark family secret: a hungry Wight who feeds on grief has haunted her family for generations.
