Synopsis
About the fate of composer Sarsky, who appropriated someone else's music and paid for it. A story about good and evil, love and hate. "Free submission to one's fate, rather than shameful struggle against it, is characteristic of animals" — these words of the Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius became the composer's life credo. Adherence to this dubious wisdom soon leads to the compatibility of genius and criminal. Love breeds misfortune, the doctor turns into an executioner, temples are destroyed, God turns away.
