Synopsis

Documentary about the planning of, and resistance to, the nuclear reprocessing plant in Wackersdorf (Upper Palatinate). The resistance of the local population and many activists ultimately prevented the construction of this project. During the demonstrations, conditions at times resembled civil war in the area around the construction site.
