Synopsis
In the late 1980s, a high-ranking party official, Iona Petrovich, suddenly left his prestigious post, abandoned his family, and emigrated. His wife died, unable to bear the betrayal. Their son, Andrei, grew up without parents. Time passed, circumstances changed, and Iona Petrovich returns to his homeland.
