Synopsis
FRAGMENT |The beautiful Margrethe is engaged to the seminarian Bengt Darre, but oh, he’s such a bore. He’s a bit of a dreamer and very pious. She’s cheerful, happy and ready for wild adventures. When he blames her for killing a swan, Margrethe has had enough. She leaves him and finds herself a new man. Bengt becomes a monk and devotes himself to God.
