Synopsis
Stefan Saturday, having emigrated to America, wandered for fifteen years in search of work. Having saved up money, the hero acquired a small farm and, with the arrival of spring, came to his native village in Ukraine, where Christina had been waiting for him all these years. Much has changed in the life of Transcarpathia - and no matter how much Christina loved him, she refused to go with him.
