Synopsis
Shipowner Karanikas, who has been searching for his lost daughter for years, finally finds her with the help of a limping detective. However, on his way to meet her, he is killed in a car accident, leaving her his entire fortune. Despoina, a street vendor with a talent for singing, suddenly becomes a shipowner and tries to adapt to her new role. While the company's personnel, public relations, and legal affairs managers each vie for the position of general manager, Despoina falls in love with a con man, the playboy Jack, who only wants her for her money. She soon realizes what he is like and sends him away. Her pain is now eased by the financial director, Petros, whom her father had raised as his own son. With him, Despina will find affection, love, and tenderness.
