Synopsis
This documentary follows contestants competing for the title of "World's Most Beautiful Transsexual." The pageant takes place in Las Vegas, where the finalists will be offered parts in a Vegas show. Going beyond the glitz of the competition itself, filmmaker Jeremy Stanford joins six hopefuls as they return to their hometowns and families, and the film reveals the prejudice they faced in their youth and the part the pageant plays in asserting their transgender identities.
