Synopsis

In the 30s, as is known, a large number of Kazakhs moved to China, among them the daughter of aul bai, who was killed by the Red Army. Many years later, she, a gray-haired old woman, having stolen her only grandson from her parents illegally, crosses the border through the mountains and returns to her historical homeland.
