Jeremy Roberts
Biography
Jeremy Roberts is a veteran American character actor born on September 18, 1954, in Birmingham, Alabama. He moved to Hollywood as a child and later served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War, where he reached the rank of Sergeant before being honorably discharged. After his military service, he pursued acting, attending the American Conservatory Theater where he studied alongside notable actors such as Annette Bening.
Roberts has appeared in over 200 co-starring and guest roles in film and television over a career spanning more than 30 years. He is known for his roles in movies like "The Mask" (1994), "Christmas Vacation" (1989), "Herbie: Fully Loaded" (2005), and "Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country" (1991), where he played Lieutenant Commander Dimitri Valtane—a role he reprised in the TV show "Star Trek: Voyager." He also has a strong background in repertory theater with performances at the Pacific Conservatory Theater and the Denver Center Theater. Outside of acting, Roberts worked various jobs such as bartender, lifeguard, and bodyguard before fully establishing his acting career. He continues to work internationally in film and TV projects
